1. What is the operation hours of the Busan subway?

The Busan subway station is divided into line No. 1,2 and 3 and the operation hours of
each line is from 5 a.m. until 12:40 a.m. which is slightly over midnight.
The time it takes to each block is between 4-7 minutes passing through the concerned station. more

2. How to use the Busan subway?

Please refer to the subway route map, see the fare table and purchase either a regular ticker
or a transportation card according to your destination. more

The fare per distance is divided according to the distance.
The first 10km from the departed station is considered one block and more than 10km is considered two blocks.
The fare is different depends of the block and payment method.
Groups, the disabled and senior citizens could enjoy special rates. more

There are two payment methods in using the subway.
The regular tickets and transportation tickets.
To purchase a regular ticket using the ticketing machine, please select the block that corresponds to your departing location and destination.
Push the block mark button, insert cash, get the ticket and your change if there is any and you are ready to get on the subway.
You may purchase and recharge a transportation card from the outside vendors around the subway.
You can also enjoy discount using a transportation card.
If you are not going to use it frequently, however, it is better to just purchase a regular ticket. more

3. Where is the transport station in the Busan subway?

The Busan subway station is divided into line No. 1,2 and 3 and there are transport station in each line to assist transferring to other line suggesting a better way to commute within Busan city.
There is no extra fare for the transferring to other line. more

  • Line No. 2 : Deokchon, Soamyun, Suyong
  • Line No. 3 : Deokchon, Yonsan-dong, Suyong

4. Where can I find my lost articles?

The Busan subway is providing the best safe service to the citizens to their destinations.
It also operates Lost & Found facility to keep lost articles of the citizens so that the articles can be picked up
by its owner. more

5. Is there any facilities for convenience beside using the subway?

The Busan subway offers convenience facilities for the citizens using the subway.
It provides a place to meet people in the crowded area in order to facilitate the citizens and to rest freely as well as a bicycle keeping area for the citizens using bicycles.
It also provides an instant camera to help citizens whom are all go, lockers to keep articles, convenient facilities for the disabled as well.
For the safety of our passengers in the crowded subway, the Busan subway formed a Subway Watcher Team to prevent and solve all kinds of crimes and they are dispatched in every station. more

6. Is there anything a passenger should be cautious about using the subway?

Before getting on to the subway, please wait on the side of the access door so that people can clear off from the subway and than get on the subway in order.
Make sure you hold on to the safety grips or the bars.
When getting off and getting on the subway, the distance between the subway could be dangerous thus, please be extra cautious. more

7. What should we do in an emergency situation?

In case of emergency, make a call to related organization using the emergency telephone installed around the access door
or use the emergency telephone device to announce the emergency situation.
Use the fire distinguisher to control the fire, open the access door manually, put your head down opposite away the fire,
cover your mouth using a handkerchief or any cloth and get far away as you can from the access door. more

8. Where do you suggest to visit by the Busan subway?

There are lots of features and foods you can enjoy at the beautiful marine city by Busan subway.
